Congratulations on your decision to participate in the President’s Volunteer Service Awards!
The Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) was created to recognize and honor Americans who are engaged in their communities by way of voluntary service. It is awarded by the President of the United States and the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation to individuals, families, and groups that are committed to community service.
This award acknowledges students who volunteer their time to community service and do not benefit personally. The purpose of community service is to renew your commitment to help others and to make new connections that bring us closer together as neighbors, communities, and as a nation. The goal is to recognize and honor volunteers who set a standard for service, encourage sustained commitment to civic participation and inspire others.
Please see below for current guidelines and logs/application.
